As you may be aware Westcoast (us) have been expanding over the last couple of years, now with offices in Theale, Nottingham and Ireland. Our I.T infrastructure was due a refresh so we decided to "practice what we preach" and see if the claims HP made could indeed turn into real £££££ savings.

So with this additional expansion requirement we needed to increase our infrastructure capability whilst keeping return on investment as high as possible. Westcoast decided to look at HP's Converged Infrastructure by using the HP BladeSystem, HP ProLiant BL460G6 servers, P2000 SAN's and Microsoft Hyper-V for virtualisation of our servers.
