This new unit has all the usual 1/8 Autoloader features but boasts an LTO 5 drive which means up to a max capacity of 3TB per tape (2:1 compression) and 1.6TB uncompressed.You will need to purchase a SAS controller card for your backup server (462828-B21) and cable (AE470A). As per usual with HP 1/8 Autoloaders if you want to install them into a rack then you still have to purchase the rack kit (AH166A).
